             HOW IT ALL STARTED...

 

 

Etablished in 2013 Southtown Tire-Auto & Welding, LLC opened as the result of a push for the service in this area. John Bell, Owner and Operator of the company worked as a senior welder for 10+ years and saved his money, eventually purchasing a few tire machines and doing repair work out of his personal garage. The business took off, mostly by word of mouth, and a few  business cards around town. The city noticed the amount of traffic from his home and became concerned, they suggested that he begin looking for a commercial property to conduct his business from. He made a call to a friend asking for help to find a commercial location, before she even began the search, she said "what about the old bar right in front of your house?". He had a moment of silence and wondered to himself why he had never thought of that!

 

There he was, a man with a mission, to provide an obviously needed service to his community, not only a service that will always be needed but a friendly, efficiant and honest shop, offering the best possible, tire, automotive & welding services & prices to his community. John bought the old bar and fixed up the outside to be more visually pleasing, and started the construction on the 2 bay shop he hand built in the bars back yard. He opened his Limited Liability Company and began persuing his dream of sole-proprietorship. Open Monday-Saturday from 9am-5pm is what the sign says however, most nights you can find him working until wee hours of the morning.

 

South Coffeyville, Oklahoma is the epitamy of the  mid-American  "small town with a big heart" way of life. Honesty and hard work are qualities the area relies on to survive. John makes himself available to help those honest, hard working people everyday, he runs a business of course but, John is truly a philathropic man & thats what makes Southtown Tire-Auto & Welding, LLC  so different from it's competitors!
